COMPLAINT PROCESS

Aurora Las Encinas Hospital is accredited by the The Joint Commission. The Joint Commission encourages anyone who has concerns or complaints about the safety and quality of care to bring those concerns or complaints first to the attention of hospital administration. You can do this by contacting your Mental Health Worker, Charge Nurse, Social Worker or asking the House Supervisor.

The Joint Commission addresses all complaints that pertain to patient safety or quality of care issues within the scope of Joint Commission standards. The Joint Commission has a toll-free hotline to provide patients, their families, caregivers, and others with an opportunity to share concerns regarding quality of care issues at accredited health care organizations.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week;
however, staff members are available to answer calls only on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
